Intent and Nature of NO ROM BASIC:

The NO ROM BASIC Blog is intended to solely express the viewpoint of its Author (Namely, Michael Edward Kohlman) and in no way is to be construed as the opinion or viewpoint of any other individual or entity, including that of employers, vendors, associates and space aliens.

Employer:

For the last 6 years I have been working exclusively for Cook Group Incorporated, as the Information Systems Manger for that business unit as well as their IT Shared Services Unit. My professional relationship with Cook and the Cook Companies extends back to 1989 either as a direct employee or as an IT professional hired for specific projects and tasks.

Cook is one of those truly terrific companies to work for and its founder (William Cook) is one of finest people I have met.

Having said that I have always respected the company’s request that they not be directly named or discussed in any of the Blog Posts or Published Material that I produce On-Line and as such this lack of information is generally reflected in NO ROM BASIC.

Currently as part of my professional responsibilities I directly or indirectly coordinate purchases of products or services with the following Companies:  (note: while this list will be periodically updated, it should not be interpreted as being comprehensive in nature)

As a result of these professional responsibilities and others I occasionally have opportunities to participate in panels, advisory councils, and product testing and evaluations, some of which are covered by NDA’s. While NDA information is not discussed or disclosed in NO ROM BASIC, occasionally I may discuss experiences with products or solutions that have come from one of these companies and this disclosure section serves as notice that a business relationship exists at a vendor/purchaser level.

Stocks/Bonds/Holdings:

Currently at this time I hold no investments in the form of Stocks, Bonds, or other monetary forms with any company or venture.
